Vorpal finds herself deep in another of her haunting visions—or are they hallucinations? Either way, she's had enough. Ideally, she'd rather NOT be shackled and stewing in a Police max detention cage during this fiery exchange, but hey, what's a fearless woman to do when the universe keeps throwing curveballs?

I love lettering. I have found the fonts to finish this issue and like what I am able to do to convey mood. I'm a big fan of expressive lettering that is easy to read and acts in design with the page. All the elements -- the story, the art, the color, the letters -- have to work in each panel, on each page, in the full issue, harmonious and rhythmic, conveying the sense of gravitas of every part of the story. While my coloring stinks and that will be saved soon, I do like my lettering and am happy to share this nearly finished page with you. I'm proud of the lettering and thrilled to share this nearly finished page with you. I hope it draws you into Vorpal's universe of grit, determination, and interstellar intrigue.

Just 7,305 days ago, I was three days away from getting married but could not have been more anxious and excited. I have now known my beloved for 7,795 days thanks to Jessica inviting me to a Thanksgiving dinner, which quite fantastically changed my life. We’ll celebrate 20 years married on Thursday (it’s April 17) and I’ll have more things to say each day until then, but you cannot know the kind of love I know of her without understanding that every day I spend with @ddtudor , selfishly, I am better, my accomplishments are greater, I heal from wounds faster, I dig deeper in everything I do more and am more at ease and present than I have ever been. Being with one of the smartest, most loving and wisest human beings will do that. Love you, babe.

York was home to a medieval Jewish neighborhood and cemetery called “Jewbury,” established around 1177 and used until the expulsion of Jews from England in 1290. Archaeological excavations uncovered nearly 500 graves, offering insights into the lives of York's Jewish community. Part of the site is now beneath a parking lot. The remains were reburied nearby.

We are knee deep in getting Vorpal#4 published and are excited about that. Jason just rewrote 4 pages in the 48-page script. Diego is going hard on pencils and Mike has already started flatting pages.

Putting together issue 4 with the team has a different dynamic. We're about two years away from our work on Issue 3 (outstanding teamwork) and our lives have moved in different ways. Jason mentioned that he took too long getting the current script in its current state, he's glad he, Diego and Mike all back together and working at it.

Here are the first three penciled pages by Diego Albuquerque. We love the bit with the monkey.

Much more to come in the coming months!

So, I finally got caught up on "The Book of Boba F

So, I finally got caught up on "The Book of Boba Fett" and "Peacemaker."

First, I enjoy both to different degrees but wasn't overwhelmed by either. Let's start with TBOBF.

I think Temuera Morrison is really good. I think Ming-Na Wen is great. And, I've enjoyed the three episodes I've seen. I would only nitpick like, the Power Rangers bikes, for instance, ridden by that anodyne Up With People bike gang. Or, some of the justification for some scenes. I also get that while Boba has stepped in for Hutt, no one seems to care and I think that's one of those floating plots. Still I trust Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, who've made Star Wars Star Wars again so i can't wait for the next episode. I really enjoy the B story more and am immersed in the entire Tusken Raider experience. Cool new Wookiee

Peacemaker, on the other hand, is a mixed bag for me. I like it. I like John Cena. I think he's the next great action star in making plus he has some X qualities that others do not. I'm just not sure where or how to focus my energy with this yet. HUGE note for me is the appearance of the best DC costume from the 1980s, Vigilante. Don't agree with his character yet -- it's very Deadpool-y. But I'm riding it out and I trust James Gunn to deliver. He has in the past.

Anyway, like TBOBF more than Peacemaker, but am enjoying both with some reservations.

It's Friday, so I'll just ask: what's your favorite comic book and why?

Mine? It's probably Cerebus by Dave Sim, specifically the Church & State run. It's brilliantly written, brilliantly drawn by Sim (and Gerhardt), and brilliantly executed. It's funny, poignant, and dramatic without taking itself too seriously. Plus, it's THE Independent comic book that got it all started for the rest of us.

Runners up? Jon Sable: Freelance by Mike Grell (Issue 17 inspired me to want to do this), Grim Jack, Moon Knight, Daredevil, Silver Surfer, Eben 07, Long John, Batman, and Captain Canuck.

It's #throwbackThursday, so let's throwback to 2011. I was noodling with 3D software and trying to get closer to the look and mood of this comic book. This is a digital piece I did to better understand who she was and what she did for a living, and what might happen if her fight or flight instinct kicked in. It was a fun render to do if only to gather some intellectual capital to build the universe and add content to the overall story. But I do love this render. 👍🙌
